The Challenge

The Embassy of Sweden in Korea required a flagship National Day reception in Seoul that would convene the Swedish diplomatic community, Korean government counterparts, the Swedish business community in Korea, partner embassies, and media. The brief demanded a production partner who could simultaneously handle (a) diplomatic-protocol-level operational discipline, (b) a stage and spatial concept faithful to Sweden's national brand identity and Nordic design language, (c) bilingual (English / Korean) run-of-show with consideration for diplomatic seating, the Ambassador's address, and protocol toasts, and (d) reusable video collateral for post-event diplomatic communication. Above all, the embassy required one accountable partner familiar with the standards expected of a foreign mission in Korea.
